LEWISTON, Idaho – Trotter Boston went 3-for-4 and drove in three, and relief pitcher Mario Tostado helped himself by belting a double off the wall in center to break the game open, as defending national champion Hope International (Calif.) began the 2025 Avista NAIA Baseball World Series with a 10-4 win over Cumberlands (Ky.) in Lewiston, Idaho.

The win marked the Royals’ ninth-straight at Harris Field.
