Avista NAIA World Series Internship Program
Internship Information
The Avista NAIA World Series Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students interested in a career in sports with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the operations of a championship tournament. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through project assignments.
The internship dates are as follows: May 18 - 30, 2026. Hours of operation are based on the events and day of the tournament. Applicants must be available to work all shifts in the calendar listed below to be eligible for review. Opportunities may be available in a variety of departments including but not limited to: Promotions, Volunteer Coordinating, Social Media, and Facilities. Although interns may have an area of focus, they will assist with all other areas. All internship positions are paid and are based out of Lewiston, Idaho. This is a stipend internship of $700 paid after completion of the internship ending on 5/30/26. Housing, event apparel, and most meals are provided. Interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from Lewiston, Idaho.

Internship Requirements
All Applications Must Meet the Following Criteria for Consideration
- Current College Student or 2025-26 graduate
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous work experience (part-time, internship or volunteer) or coursework related to the department(s) of interest is strongly preferred
- Availability for the full two-week internship period listed above
- Willingness to work long and irregular hours
- Professional demeanor and appearance while representing the NAIA
