Wednesday NAIA Baseball Action Complete, Thursday Schedule Adjusted Ahead of Weather

Harris Field welcomed a full day of baseball on Wednesday at the Avista NAIA World Series after weather altered Tuesday’s slate. A suspended game was completed in the morning, and another postponed matchup was played later in the day alongside the regularly scheduled contests.

 

Thursday’s slate has been adjusted due to forecasted inclement weather. The contest between Tennessee Wesleyan and Southeastern, originally scheduled for 3 p.m. PT, has been moved to 12:30 p.m. PT. The second game of the day between Taylor and William Carey will now begin at 4 p.m. PT instead of its original 6:30 p.m. PT start time.

Taylor defeated Mid-America Christian, 13-4

Southeastern defeated IU Southeast, 16-4 (8 innings)

Tennessee Wesleyan defeated IU Southeast, 10-3

William Carey defeated Southeastern, 17-7 (7 innings)
