Harris Strikes Out a Dozen as Georgia Gwinnett Claims Run-Rule Win Over British Columbia, 11-1

LEWISTON, Idaho – Ben Harris struck out 12 for Georgia Gwinnett, Friday night, and the Grizzlies earned the first run-rule win of the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series, walking off to beat British Columbia, 11-1, at Harris Field in Lewiston.

Harris was dominant on the mound for the Grizzlies, going 7.1 innings, erasing 14-consecutive batters between the third and eighth innings, improving to 12-0.

Georgia Gwinnett (54-5) advances to play Tennessee Wesleyan Monday night at 3 p.m. PT, and British Columbia (39-18) enters an elimination contest Saturday, against Loyola (La.) at 6:30 p.m.
