LEWISTON, Idaho – LSU Shreveport (La.) and Grand View (Iowa) combined for five home runs, but the Pilots were able to make a first-inning lead stick, improving to 55-0 with a 6-3 win over the Vikings in the second game of the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series in Lewiston.

LSUS moves into Monday’s winner’s bracket game against defending national champion Hope International (Calif.), and Grand View is back on the field Saturday at 3 p.m. PT to meet Cumberlands (Ky.) in an elimination game.
