LEWISTON, Idaho – The 2023 Avista NAIA World Series will feature fan-favorite promotions and giveaways, as well as the addition of the Strike Zone. See below for details of each promotion, event and giveaways.
EVENTS/GIVEAWAYS
ABCA Kids Clinic – Wednesday, May 24 – Kids ages 5-12 can participate in a free clinic with the 10 participating teams starting at 5:30 p.m. at Harris Field. Participants are asked to bring their glove and wear athletic shoes, and they will receive a free shirt, hot dog, Pepsi product and general admission ticket to the 2023 Avista NAIA World Series. This year’s event is sponsored by P1FCU and Catalyst.
NAIA Banquet – Thursday, May 25 – Come celebrate all 10 teams competing in this year’s tournament. The banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the P1FCU Activity Center. Tickets can be purchased by calling (208)792-2471. This year’s event is sponsored by the Idaho Potato Commission, Visit LC Valley and Greg Kimberling Insurance.
Opening Day – Friday, May 26 – The first 100 fans through the main gate of Harris Field will receive an official Avista NAIA World Series clear tote bag. Avista is the day sponsor. Opening Ceremonies will be held at 6 p.m.
Fanny Pack Day – Saturday, May 27 – Day sponsor CCI/Speer will hand out 200 free fanny packs at the main gate ahead of the 6:30 p.m. game.
All-American Day – Monday, May 29 – Discounted tickets are available at Rosauers, while supplies last. The general admission tickets range from $5-$10. BSN is the day sponsor.
Rally Day – Tuesday, May 30 – Day sponsor Art Beat will hand out free rally towels at the main gate starting at 6 p.m. Limited number available.
Ball Day – Wednesday, May 31 – Day sponsor Umpqua Bank will toss out souvenir baseballs during the fourth inning of the night game to fans in both general admission and reserved seats.
Bat Day – Thursday, June 1 – Day sponsor Clearwater River Casino & Lodge will hand out souvenir mini bats at the main gate to the first 600 fans starting at 5:30 p.m.
Strike Zone – Sponsored by Inland Cellular, the Strike Zone is located behind the outdoor vendors between 10th Ave and 11th Ave next to Harris Field. It is the official fan area of the 2023 Series. Beer and wine, for those 21 and older, will be sold between the hours of 2-7:30pm, Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, and modified hours later on in the week. Must have 2023 Series ticket for entry.
IN-GAME PROMOTIONS
Souvenir Pepsi Cup – Purchase a souvenir Pepsi Cup at the main concession stand and enter to win a 2024 Avista NAIA World Series prize package that includes two tickets and a parking pass to the 2024 Avista NAIA World Series and $250. Supplies are limited. Pepsi is the official soft drink of the 2023 Avista NAIA World Series.
Dance for your Dutch – Each night game, fans will have the opportunity to get up and dance during the Dance for your Dutch promotion. We will play a song and hand out $10 Dutch gift cards to those fans who can show us their best dance moves.
Lucky Program Number – Fans who purchase a souvenir program need to check the front inside cover for their Idaho Lottery Lucky Number. Each game in the fifth inning we will call a lucky number and the fan with that program number will win a prize package from the Idaho lottery.
Trivia – Each game fans will have the option to play World Series Trivia sponsored by the Clearwater River Casino & Lodge.
Lucky Seat – During the Seventh Inning Stretch, brought to you by Sport PT, stand up and check to see if you are in the day’s lucky seat. If you have the lucky seat announced, bring your ticket and head to the promotions table to claim your 2023 Avista NAIA World Series souvenir shirt.
